How the days fall
An outline, not a fixed schedule. Flight times decide whether you land in Jeddah or Madinah first, and your operator confirms the exact order in the written quotation.
Day 1
Colombo to Makkah
Fly from Bandaranaike International Airport. You enter ihram before the Miqat on the way, travel on to Makkah, and perform Umrah after you arrive.
Days 2–6
Makkah, 6 nights in total
The five prayers in Masjid al-Haram, Ziyarah around Makkah with your Sri Lankan guide, and time to rest in between.
Day 7
Makkah to Madinah
The group travels north together by coach, and the rest of the day settles around the prayers at Masjid an-Nabawi.
Days 8–11
Madinah, 5 nights in total
The five prayers at Masjid an-Nabawi, Ziyarah to the historic sites around the city with the guide, and a quieter few days before the flight home.
Day 12
Home to Colombo
Transfer to the airport and fly back, with your sealed Zamzam checked in where the airline allows it.

Asked about this tier
Three answers before you enquire
Every tier includes return economy airfare from Colombo, Umrah visa processing, the hotel nights listed for the tier, airport transfers, the journey between Makkah and Madinah, Ziyarah in both cities, a Sri Lankan religious guide with the group, a pre-departure briefing, and Zamzam water where the airline allows it. The tier pages list what is not included.
Tell us roughly when you want to travel, how many people, and which tier interests you. We come back with a written quotation from the operator that names the hotels, the airline and the departure date. You pay the operator directly, only after you have that quotation in writing.
Ramadan is the most crowded and the most expensive time, and for many the most rewarding. The Umrah visa is not active during the Hajj season, from 1 Dhul Qi'dah to 13 Dhul Hijjah. Outside those periods, the cooler months from November to February are more comfortable in Makkah, which never has a month with an average high below 30 °C. Sri Lankan school holidays in December are popular with families, so ask early for those dates.
